  	Stallings, Margaret G. EDEN - Margaret Grow Stallings, 83, our angel mother, died at home on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005, of causes incident to age. She devoted her entire life to caring for her husband and family, especially her son George. She was born September 12, 1921 in Huntsville, a daughter of Charles Isaac and Adelia Abbott Grow, and was reared in Huntsville with her four older brothers. She graduated from Weber High and Weber Seminary. As a teenager she worked in the tomato factory in North Ogden. She also worked as a telephone operator in Huntsville and then in Dr. Dumke's office after graduation. Margaret married Lowell Stallings in 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They made their home in Eden where together they built a registered Holstein dairy farm of 70 cows. Even though she never felt like she was a farm girl at heart, she drove flat bed trucks for hay haulers and then cooked dinner for the crew. She was always feeding someone. Lowell died January 11, 2005. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Eden 1st Ward and served many years in the Primary and Relief Society. She enjoyed doing family genealogy and extraction work. Margaret loved music, especially playing hymns on the piano. She had a lot of energy and was the first to have her laundry out on the clothes line on wash day. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She crocheted many beautiful tablecloths and was also an avid reader. Surviving are her children: George Stallings, Eden; Jan (Richard) Wight, Ogden; Sharon (Brad) Vause, Eden; Sandra (Dave) Jenkins, Eden; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Dale Grow, Ogden; and Douglas (Beatrice) Grow, San Clemente, CA. The family would like to thank Seini Moeaki and IHC Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Eden/Huntsville Stake Center, 6450 East 1900 North. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Stake Center 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Eden Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund.
