  	Marva Batty Hacking, 69, of Vernal, died Jan. 14, 2000 at the Ashely Valley Medical Center in Vernal. She was born Sept. 28, 1930 in Vernal, the daughter of Marion Batty and Mable Siddoway Batty. She married A.L. (Bud) Hacking on Nov. 26, 1n Vernal. Marva was co-owner of Bud's Steak House in Vernal, a member of the Pink Ladies at Ashley Valley Medical Center, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a member of the Lurch. Marva enjoyed racing horses, reading and caring for others, especially older people in the neighborhood, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bud Hacking, Vernal; children, Darcy (Mike) Keele, Vernal; Lorrie (Randy) Cloward, Roosevelt; and Cathy (Mark) Hoffman, Grand Forks, N.D.; five grandchildren, Dusty Keele, Brandy Keele, Russell Cloward, Ryanrd and Garrett Cloward. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Vernal 5th Ward Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. (Misc.
