  	Sarah Elzana Snow Hogmire, 77 of Caldwell, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at a local care facility. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12th & Everett, Caldwell under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Viewings will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dakan Chapel and Monday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. in the Relief Society Room prior to services. Elzana was born July 21, 1937 in Los Angeles, California to Lonnie and Dorothy Snow. They moved to Idaho when she was young where she was raised and educated in Caldwell. She met her husband, Donald Hogmire, when she was in the 5th grade. They married in 1955 and together raised 6 children. Elzana was a hardworking mother, taking care of her family while working at Dairy Queen when her children were young. Later, she worked at the Idaho State Liquor Dispensary until her retirement. Elzana is survived by her husband of 59 years, Don Hogmire of Caldwell; 6 children, David (Terri) Hogmire of Middleton, Diana Heintz of Bouse, AZ, Randy Hogmire of Caldwell, Ruth (Richard) Dotson of Camas, WA, Carolyn (James) Randolph of Caldwell, and Craig Hogmire of Caldwell; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a sister, LaVonna Corder of St George, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a brother.
