  	Eugene passed away on November 22, 2013. He was born June 9, 1935 to Samuel E. and Delpha O. Scott. Married Ruth Andersen, September 5, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduate of Davis High School and Utah State University. He held many positions in the Church, including many years with Ruth in the Scouting program. Retired after 30 years from Hercules Inc. Served as a young man in the Southern States Mission. Also served with Ruth on a Mission to Saskatchewan, Canada. In their retirement, Ruth and Eugene served as Wagon Masters leading Motor Home Caravans throughout the U.S. and Canada. Survived by his wife, Children: Catherine Lynch (John) Michael, Gary (Joann), Thomas (Lisa), Susan, Sam (Marlana), also daughter-in-law Marvie Scott and adopted daughter Theresa Redwood, 22 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne and granddaughter Heather Hanson. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 am in the Riverton 3rd Ward, 12998 So. 1300 W. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. and Monday 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment Redwood Memorial Park.
