She was born December 19, 1933 in Stone, ID to Walter Albert and Jiammia Neal Scott. Lenna grew up in the Curlew Valley, the oldest of seven children. She attended schools in Stone and Holbrook, ID and Lehi, UT. She graduated from Bear River High School in Tremonton, UT. On September 20, 1950 she married Russell Pack Roe in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Stone, ID where they had eight children. He died on April 27, 1998. Russell and Lenna enjoyed working together on their farm. They loved dancing and accompanying the youth to the LDS dance festivals. She served faithfully in many positions in the LDS Church. She loved the community of Curlew Valley and the people there. Lenna had a cheerful disposition even though she endured many trials. She was quick to laugh and help those around her feel better. She had a frail body, but her mind remained sharp and intact until the end of her life. Family was important to Lenna. She enjoyed her relationships with her parents and ancestors. She was proud of all of her children and grandchildren and loved visits from them. She stayed close with her brothers and sisters who remained a great support to her. Lenna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children, Jacalyn Roe and Mitchell Roe, one grandson, Bradley Nimer, and two sisters, Eunice Robles and Janice Durfey. She is survived by her children Kelly (Sharon) Roe, West Point UT; Jeffrey (Kaylene) Roe, Rockford, ID; Dennis (Kathleen) Roe, Stone, ID; Lucinda (David) Nimer, Malad, ID; Hal (Kim) Roe, Farr West, UT; and Eldon (Jody) Roe, Hyrum, UT. She is also survived by sisters Karen Cutler, Ogden, UT; Myrna (Monte) Call, Malad, ID; brothers Neal (Annette) Scott, Idaho Falls, ID; and Brent Scott, Stone, ID. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 12 Noon at the Curlew LDS Chapel in Snowville, UT. Friends and family may visit on Friday May 30, 2014 from 7 - 8 pm at the Horsley Funeral Home at 132 West 300 North in Malad, ID and on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:45 am at the Curlew Chapel. Burial in the Snowville Cemetery. Miss me once in a while, but don't mourn for me. I am free from my earthly trials - I am walking with angels and running through the clouds.
