- Thomas "Tom" M Hacking, age 64, passed away at home Dec. 17, 2007.
He was born in Vernal Jan. 27, 1943 to Myron L. and Helen Gurr Hacking.
Tom enjoyed stock car racing, fishing, hunting and being in the mountains. His nickname was "tinker" because he enjoyed tinkering with cars and engines.
Tom is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by mother, Helen; wife, Alice; sons, Tommy Lynn and Myron (Teresa) Hacking; daughter, Holly (Ren) Lyman; brothers, Jim (Barbara) Hacking; sisters, Sherry (Jerry) Luck, Myrna Murray; ninndchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 20, at Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Maeser-Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuar
