  	Claude S. Nebeker, age 80, of Evanston, Wyo. formerly of Roosevelt, died June 13, 2011 in Evanston. He was born Dec. 4, 1930 in Myton, to Stan Alfred and Mabel Johnson Nebeker. Claude married Phyllis Russon, and later divorced. He married Alice Kissling, and they later divorced. Claude grew up in Myton and attended and graduated from school in Roosevelt. He was an entrepreneur in the petroleum industry. He started out driving truck, his first and favorite of all time was a cab-over Peterbilt, he owned and operated Nebeker Oil Company, and at one time owned 28 gas stations in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. When he wasn?t driving truck he was flying. Claude loved to fly. He owned five planes, three at one time and he would fly them all. Some of his first gas stations were on the reservation at Whiterocks and Fort Duchesne. While there he worked closely with the Ute Tribe Business Committee and the Federal Government to develop much of their own housing. Claude lived in Fort Duchesne from 1989-2002 and has lived in Evanston since 2002. He is survived by his children, Russell (Trinny) Nebeker, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Gerald S. (Susan) Nebeker, Vernal; James Paul Nebeker, Evanston, Wyo.; Kelly (Sue Ann) Crozier, Roosevelt; Michelle Ann (Patrick) Bruno, Denver, Colo.; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, brothers, Jim (Loya) Nebeker, Roosevelt; Clark (Sue) Nebeker, Vashon, Wash.; and sister-in-law, Jean Nebeker of Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Lynn Nebeker. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 18 at the Hullinger Mortuary. Burial was in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
