  	Emma 'Beth' Goodrich Caldwell Feb. 18, 1922-July 9, 2008 Gresham resident Emma 'Beth' Goodrich Caldwell, 86, died Wednesday, July 9, at her son's home in Eagle Mountain, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 14, followed by a funeral service at the Powell Valley Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12300 S.E. 312th Ave., Boring. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 400 S.W. Walters Drive, Gresham. Beth was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Vernal, Utah, to Jerome and Kate Goodrich. On Jan. 9, 1943, she married Clifford Caldwell in Reno, Nev. After Cliff's return from World War II, they lived in Vernal until 1950, when they moved to Oregon. They settled in Gresham in the early 1950s. Beth went to work at First Interstate Bank of Oregon in 1967 and retired in 1985 in order to care for her husband. She was known as a hard worker who always wanted to do a good job, and she served in various callings for her church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Toni Howarth of South Jordan, Utah; sons, Conrad Caldwell of Portland and Dane Caldwell of Eagle Mountain; sisters, Carma Richins of Provo, Utah, and Carlie Williams of Porterville, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
