And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly danchlil Gibran Peaceful now, after a long and valiant battle with cancer, Rex N. Worthen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend. Rex married Shirley Walton 1956. Rex was the founder of Mountain State Tile and was a successful tile contractor for 40 years. Rex and Shirley were married for 52 years and they loved to travel. Rex loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to spend time on the water in his boat. Rex served in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper. Rex is survived in life by his wife, Shirley Worthen, daughters, Teri Worthen and Kristy Biggins, sons, Gary and Kerry, grandchildren, Adam Beckstead, Wendy Kelsey, Sam Biggins, Cindy Tufts and Nicholas Gardner, great-grandchildren, Breanne Henderson, Nala and Keri Kelsey, Rex and Darrell Tufts, Thomas Biggins and great-great-granddaughter, Audrey Henderson. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that yke donations to the Disabled American Veterans in Rex's memory. His love of life and practical jokes will be greatly missed. ____________________________________________________________
