  	Neils Earlin Worthen, Sr. age 78, of Centerfield, left us on the morning of May 31, 2009 to go to that big fishing hole in the sky. He was born April 16, 1931 in Panguitch, Utah, a son of Charles Grow and Sara Lena Neilson Worthen. He was the third of five children. He married Melvelene Sparks on March 16, 1950 in Granger, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on January 20, 1987. Earlin was the most outstanding man, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Melvelene of Centerfield; children: Earlene Rasband of South Jordan; Debbie and Dean Idom of West Valley City; Tammy Turner (Les) of Central Valley; Earlin Jr. and Shelaine Worthen of Centerfield; Owen TurTerri) of Burrville; Charles Rasband of South Jordan; Becky Worthen (Jon) of Fairview; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grand-children; sisters and brothers: Cora Campbell of Salem; Sarah Butcher of Salt Lake City; Ned and Faye Worthen of Magna; Charles Ray (Deceased) and Billie Jo Worthen of West Valley City. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Don Worthen and a grandson, Little Mike. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 12 Noon in the Axtell First Ward Chapel in Axtell, Utah, where friends may call for a viewing on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.r to the services. Burial will be in the Centerfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
