Our stubborn, gentle, hardworking, and loud voiced grandpa, George Jackson Props left us to be with his daughter, Georjean Props from his home surrounded by family.He was born in New Mexico, August 5, 1928 to Burchill and Addie Rose Props. He survived the "Great Depression" and worked his whole life. He met the love of his life, A. Jean Grow, and married her Sept. 2, 1952. He was blessed with one daughter and two grandsons who he raised as his own. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and took care of his community until the day he passed.
Survived by his wife, A. Jean Props; grandsons, Jimmylee Merrill and John (Shelly) Merrill; great granddaughters, Rayden Cheyenne and Sayge Takoda; sister, Rosie Butler; brother, Royce (Elta) Props; and many nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Sat., August 18, 2007 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So., Magna, where friends and family may call Sat. 9:30-10 a.m. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
