  	Ethel Mae Goodenough Worthen passed away peacefully at her home on July 23, 2010. She was born November 10, 1924 in Magna, Utah to Owen A. and Margaret Catten Goodenough. She married Ira Warren Worthen on August 15, 1942. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on March 28, 1952. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as the ward librarian for thirty years. She was active in Relief Society helping with craft projects, including quilting, and she loved to hand embroidd do plastic canvas. She leaves behind her husband of sixty-seven years and three children: Dwight (Rebecca) Worthen, Cherie Leishman, and Paula (Vaughn) Barker; brother, Melvin Goodenough; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and many nieces and ne. She was preceded in death by her son, Glen Leon Worthen; parents; one brother; and three sisters. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the services at Valley View Fl Home, 4335 West 4100 South. A luncheon will follow in the Pleasant Green Ward Building, 8739 West 3000 South, Magna, Utah, for family and friends.
