Worthen passed away at his home in Murdock, Washington November 29th at the age of 53 years. He was born to Frank and Cora Worthen in Tabiona, Utah, September 8, 1920. He was married to Barbara Jane Bush October 21, 1940 in Glendale, California. They moved to their home on Star Route, Lyle eight years ago. He has worked for himself as a farmer, carpenter and rental owner. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Jane Worthen of Lyle, Washington; One daughter: Gayle Moore of Walla Walla, Washington; Two sons: Del and Leo Worthen of Lyle, Washington. Four brothers: Don, Frank, Gene and Warren Worthen all of Utah; andur sisters: Josephine Struthers, Dorothy Brown and LaDene Griswald, all of California; and Beth Carr of Dallesport, Washington. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4th, at 1:30 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in White Salmon, Washington. Interment was in the Lyle, Washington Cemetery. Pastor Arthur Davy officiated at the services. _____________________________________________________________
