  	Mary Ann Bastian Richfield, Utah Mary Ann Sandin Bastain, 74, passed away February 6, 2013 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, due to a recent illness. She was surrounded by all of her immediate family, who were her pride and joy. Mary Ann was born December 3, 1938 in Panguitch to Lars Otto and Wenda Miller Sandin. She married Brent Glen Bastain, April 26, 1957 in the St. George Temple. Mary Ann was a very active member of the LDS Church and served as president of both the Relief Society and Primary, along with many other callings which she loved. Mary Ann and Brent loved the temple and they served as temple workers for five years. Her recent love was genealogy and has worked diligently at doing more than her part. She loved to give service to anyone who was in need. Mary Ann co-owned and operated the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon, and did hair for over 35 years. After retiring, she and Brent were very rarely apart. They were true sweethearts. Mary Ann and Brent had three children: Stacy (Rick) Porter, Richfield; Mitch (Dona) Bastian, Annabella; Kris (Parm) Patrick, Richfield; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and another two more expected; sisters: Louise (Laurel) Holman, Panguitch; Virginia Hoesch, Henderson, NV. She is preceded in death by her parents; in-laws; a sister; grandson and great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Richfield 2nd Ward Chapel, 700 West 200 South. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the ward chapel. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
