He suffered a compound fracture of the left leg, a frontal skull fracture and a fractured spine. He did not regain consciousness after the accident.

State Highway Patrolman Frank E. Eastman, with Sheriff Alma White and Chief Deputy Milton Lee, investigated the accident.
Car Stalls
Patrolman Eastman said that Mr. and Mrs. Hall had been out for the evening Saturday and were returning to their home in Tooele when their automobile stalled on the highway.
Mr. Hall worked with the car for a time and then flagged down a car driven by Moray England of Tooele who also was en route to Tooele.
