  	Past Local Woman Dies Eva Chaffin, 96, widow of Edward Chaffin, former Idaho Falls Resident, died at Southgate, Calif., Tuesday of causes incident to age. Mrs. Chaffin was born Dec. 3, 1877, in Salt Lake City,Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church. She left Idaho Falls four years ago to live with a daughter at Southgate. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Richardson of Southgate, and Mrs. Eva Bane of Los Altos, Calif. Three sons, Wendell Chaffin of Boise, Glenn Chaffin of Phoenix, Ariz., and Keith Chaffin of White City, Ore. Five grandchildren an2 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Wood Chapel of the Pines. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service Friday. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
