  	Lena Marion Grow Riter GLENDALE, CA - Lena Riter passed away October 31, 2005 in Glendale, California, at the age of 103.She was born July 18, 1902 in Monticello, Utah, a daughter of John S. and Josephine Sorensen Grow. Lena married Charles Riter on February 16, 1921. From this union, one daughter, Dorris was born on February 6, 1922. Lena and Dorris spent many happy years living in California where Lena enjoyed her daughter's many artistic endeavors as an actress, artist and writer. They spent the summer months in Ogden, Utah at the home of Lena's sister and brother-in-law, Bessie and Lloyd Lund. Ill health eventually forced them both into an assisted living center in Glendale. Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lena was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Dorris on September 29, 2000 as well as her parents, sisters Bessie Lund and Alta Grow, and brothers Charles, Claud, Harold and Roy Grow. Lena was laid to rest next to her daughter at the Huntsville cemetery January 17, 2006 under the direction of Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
