She was also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles and other family members and friends. Wendy was a woman of many talents, some of which were as a cosmetologist and faux painter. She loved gardening, cooking, entertaining, singing, writing, painting, drawing, pottery, and had many other interests and skills. She had a great sense of humor and was sensitive and kind. She never met a stranger and was always friendly to all. Wendy's fondest hope was to unite her children together and in the last two years of her life, while battling ovarian cancer, she was able to fulfill that desire with all five children gathered around her bed when she passed over to Eternity. Wendy's own words for her children, "To all of my children...Heather Holesapple, Joey Holesapple, Hailey Holesapple, Richard Holesapple, Niklas Nyman...you are my precious hearts...I was looking for you all my life, you are my treasures". Wendy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 1:00PM on December 7, 2016 at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, Calif., 725-2109.
