  	WOODS CROSS, Utah--Mona LaVica Haws Haacke, age 92, passed away January 27, 1999 at a nursing home in Orem, Utah. Born June 13, 1906 in Tremonton, Utah to John Kimble and Alice Florilla Haws. Married Leland Paul Haacke in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, September 15, 1927. He preceded her in death.She was a member of the Eutaw Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Woods Cross. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in Stake Relief Society, YWMIA, Primary and choir. She was employed by Davis County School District and Lakeview Hospital. Survived by her children, Verl (Montez) of St. George, UT., Kent of Orem, UT., Clyde (Rosida), of Sugar City, ID., Lani (Bonnie) of Orem, UT. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandchild and five sisters and three brothers. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 1999, 1 p.m., at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main (Bountiful), where friends may call from 11:45 to 12:45 prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
