She was born September 16, 1943 in Provo, UT to Dr. VV and Iola Telford. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1961. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was married October 18, 1963 to her lifelong sweetheart H. David Hansen in the Logan, UT Temple. She lovedg with her family and took great joy in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. During her married life, she resided in San Diego, Boise, Rupert, Emmett, and Meridian, Idaho. She was a meticulous homemaker. She was instant friends with those she met and always made others feel like they were the most important person to her. In 1975 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She courageously fought the disease with dignity and without complaint. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, four children Scott (Sheila), Susan (Eric) Spencer, Steve (Rakelle), Shelli (John) Nye, fourteen grandchildren and her brother Virgil Telford of Spanish Fork, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, youngest brother George Telford and sister Sheila Herbst.
