  	The Salt Lake Tribune April 20, 2010 Our beloved mother, Delsa Aleen Edgel Owen, age 97, died April 17, 2010. Born May 23, 1912 in Oakley, Utah to Franklin J. and Mildred Warner Edgel, the second of seven children. Married Charles H. Owen on September 20, 1934. Mom's greatestn life was her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent mother, raising her own nine children and seven stepchildren. She loved working in her garden and tending her flowers. Survived by children, Lois (Gerald) Tucker, John Franklin (Marge), Robert E (Ellen), Stephen L. (JoAnn), Calvin R (Connie), and Marci (Tom) Lambros; 36 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Clytrber and Afton Atkinson; and brother, Val Edgel. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles H.; daughters, Esther (Merril) Dyches, and Marguerite (Owen) Richardson; son, Earl F (Carolyn); her parents; brothers, Silvian Edgel and Max Edgel; and sister, Daphne Edgel Child. Friends may call Wednesday, April 21, 2010, beginning at 10 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, with a short service to follow. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. ___________________________________________________________
