    • Donna Haslam Hall, 79, of Pleasant Grove, passed away peacefully at the American Fork Hospital surrounded by her loving family on November 30, 2003 as a result of a massive stroke.

      Donna was born in Monroe, Utah September 19, 1924, the daughter of James R. and Eva Ochlella Haslam. She attended school in Monroe and Pleasant Grove and graduated from South Sevier High School.

      She married her sweetheart, Iowa Hall, in the Manti Temple and they had a wonderful life together. Donna was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was intensely proud of her posterity. Her quiet, loving demeanor set her apart, and she was loved by all who knew her.

      She was especially adept at writing verse and poetry. She enjoyed leading and helping her husband in craft work. Donna was a self-taught pianist and organist and loved musicals.

      Donna was a faithful member of the L.D.S. Church serving for many years in the Primary. She was a Sunday School teacher and served in both ward and stake Relief Societies. She and her husband served a fruitful proselytizing mission in Indiana and Ohio and later as Stake Missionaries.

      She loved serving in the Provo Temple for many years.

      Her loving caring presence will be sorely missed by her large family and her many friends. She is survived by her husband; six daughters: Cynthia (Rudy) Poecker, Lindon; Connie (Gordon) Rammell, Magna; Catherine (Lance) Zobell, Fountain Green; Caryn (Don) Adams, West Valley; Collette, Gunnison; Charlene (Steve) Hales, Fountain Green; and a son, John Hall, Clinton; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia (Grant) Fowles, Pleasant Grove.

      Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake Center on 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Tuesday evening at the church from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
