	Maurice Cantlon - Obituary Los Angeles - 1960 Rosary for Maurice Cantlon, 62, chief of security police at Desilu Productions, Inc., (formerly RKO-Pathe), for the past 16 years, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Cunningham & O'Connor Mortuary, 850 W. Washington Blvd. Requiem Mass wile celebrated at 9 a.m. tomorrow in the Church of Transfiguration. Mr. Cantolon, who died Tuesday at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital lived at 4211 2nd Ave. Born at Salt Lake City, he came to California in the early 1930's. He was the police forces at 20th Century-Fox and Warner Bros. studios before joining Desilu. Mr. Cantlon leaves his widow Margaret; a sister, Mrs. Emma Martin of Miami, Ariz.; a brother Frank of Spokane, and a nephew, Tom MacDonald of Los Angeles. ___________________________________________________________ MAURICE CANTLON'S DEATH IS LEARNED. Funeral services for Maurice Cantlon's former Butte resident will be held in Los Angeles friday. Mr. Cantlon about 64 died Tuesday night. He was employed on Butte street cars and buses many years before leaving Butte about 20 years ago. He was a member of Silver Bow Post No. 1, American Legion and the Musicians Union in Butte. Mr. Cantlon had been Chief of Police at the old RKO movie studio on the coast. Survivors include the widow Margaret, and relatives in Butte, Arizona and California. The Cantlon home is at 4221 Second Ave. Los Angeles. Montana Standard 25 Mar 1960 The death of Maurice Cantlon in Los Angeles is mourned by many Butte friends. Cantlon was a great supporter of fish and wildlife projects while a resident of Butte. He was one of Butte's most devoted fishermen. While living here Maurice wasrummer and vocalist, playing with a number of top orchestras. He left Butte in the early 30s and was a longtime police chief for DeSilu Studios in Los Angeles. He was most helpful to the Butte High School Band when it made its trip to the Tournament of Roses in '49.
