    • Rex J. Treseder, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Salt Lake City on August 6, 1990.
      Born June 11, 1924 in Magna, Utah to Julia M. Worthen and William Quillen Treseder. Married Verda Emily Caldwell July 30,1947 in Salt Lake City. She passed away February 21, 1981. Loving husband, caring father, grandfather, brother. Owned aerated R. T. Food-Dairy Equipment and involved a good part of his life in the food and dairy processing industry. Veteran of World War II and participated in the Normandy Invasion. Enjoyed fishing, golfing, and being involved with his family. Will be missed by all.Survived by four sons: William Rex and wife, Kathryn, Detroit, MI; Terry Quillen and wife, Debra, Salt Lake City; Kelly Caldwell and wife, Sherri, Chicago, IL; Tim Alan, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren: Travis, Sean, Megan, Tawni, Tory, Talli, Christopher; 4 brothers: Quillen,Earnest, Gordon, all of Salt Lake City, and Glen, Albequerque, New Mexico.
      Preceded in death by wife; brother, Keith, who was killed in WW II,and granddaughter, Kate Emily. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., August 10,1990 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive. Friends may callsday 6-8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
