  	Myrle Walker Rees, age 93, passed away on September 22, 2008 in Payson, Utah. She was born May 10, 1915 in a log cabin in Lyman, Wyoming to Levi Orsen and Amelia Jane Grow Walker. She married Dudley Thomas Rees on July 22, 1933. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on October 17, 1934. They had fouldren, Thomas Walker (Lucile) Rees, Bebe Jane (Glade) Olsen, Merlyn (Ned) Wright, and Frances Prather. She was an accomplished quilter, seamstress, and crocheter. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings. She served a mission in California and the Ogden Temple. She worked for the State of Utah and as a FDA meat inspector. She is survived by her children, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grand-children, and seven great-great- grandchildren; brothers Dwight, Darrell, Claude, Clinton, Guild, and step-brother Weston; sisters Joan, Mathel, and Lorna. She is preceded inh by her parents, husband, brothers Orion, Grow, Sylvan, Grant, Clem, Kay, and step-brothers Bruce and Keith; sisters Ila, Theo, and Artel. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, UT. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Wales, Utah City Cemetery. Published in the Deseret News on 9/24/2008. ___________________________________________________________
