  	Mabel Mary Johnson Nebeker, age 96, of Roosevelt, passed away April 18, at the Parkside Manor. She was born Aug. 10, 1912, in Dry Fork, to Quince and Chloe Mariah Hall Johnson. She married Stanley Nebeker Sept. 9, 1929, in Duchesne. He died April 25, 1983. Mabel was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family. She was always very concerned about all of her children and brothers and sisters and their families. She was an avid reader of historical books, especially those on the Natierican people. She enjoyed crocheting and making quilts. Even though her formal schooling was not long, she was a very educated and intelligent woman, and was coherent up until the time of her death. She was a member of the LDS Church. Mabel is survived by her children, Claude Nebeker, Evanston, Jim (Loya) Nebeker, Roosevelt, Clark (Susan) Nebeker, Seattle; 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ivie Schelly, Ogden,n Johnson, LaPoint, Nelda (Gale) Christensen, Ogden, Ralph (Artis) Johnson, Lander, Wyo., Dean (Clifta) Johnson, Vernal, Loyal (Erlene) Johnson, Ogden, and Larry (Judy) Johnson, Vernal. She was preceded in death by her son, Alfred Lynn; grandchildren, Douglas, Jeannie Lynn, and John Nebeker; sister, Stella Harmston; and brother Eldon Jiggs Johnson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., April 22, at the Hullinger Mortuary. Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park. ____________________________________________________________
