  	FUNERAL SERVICES SLATED MONDAY FOR MINNIE J. ATWOOD Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ashley Ward Chapel for Mrs. Minnie J. Atwood, 81, a former Vernal Resident, who died Tuesday, January 7 at St. Helens, Oregon after a lingering illness of causes incident to age. Friends may call at the Vernal Mortuary Sunday prior to the services Monday. Mrs. Atwood was born on March 20, 1876 at Vernal, a daughter of Alma James and Loretta Henry Johnstun. She was educated in Vernal and was married to Charley B. Atwood, Jr. They were parents of four children, three of whom are still living. Mrs. Atwood resided in Vernal until about ten years ago when she moved to St. Helens, Oregon to make her home. Survivors are three sons, Terryl Atwood, Salem, Oregon; Ivan Atwood, formerly of Idaho and now of Oregon and Wendell Atwood of California and five brothers, George and Darrell Johnstun, Vernal; Owen Johnstun, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Elizabeth) Harvey and Mrs. A. E. (LaGene) Marshall and Joseph and William Johnstun, all of San Jose, California. -Vernal Express, January 9, 1958
