    • Last Rites for Orson Hall at Maeser Chapel
      Funeral services for Orson Grow Hall, 76, were held in the Maeser 1st Ward Chapel, Tuesday at noon.
      Mr. Hall suffered a fatal heart attack on Taylor Mountain at 3:20 Saturday afternoon.
      Mr. Hall was the son of Iowa and Elizabeth Grow Hall. He was born September 18, 1886 in Dry Fork, Uintah County, He was married to Marinda Allen in Maeser, January 23, 1907.
      Mr. Hall was a livestockman and farmer. He made friends with the Indians and Indian camps were often found on the Hall's land. Many remember him as a good and helpful neighbor.
      The prayer at the mortuary was offered by Harold McKee.
      Prelude and postlude organ music was rendered by Margret Roberts. The invocation was given by Mark Hall. "O My Father" was sung by a mixed quartet who were Chellus and Louise Caldwell, Mrs. and Mrs. Bryce Caldwell, and accompanied by Margaretberts.
      Bishop Douglas Lawson who conducted the services gave the obituary and remarks.
      A special musical number "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine: was sung by Duane and Wayne Hall, Ralph McConkie, Allen Hazelbush, Ronnie Norman and Marion Weist.
      Those surviving are his widow, four daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Elizabeth) Weist, Vernal; Mrs. Glenn (Marinda) Norman, Idaho Falls, Idaho; one son Orson Daniel Hall, Vernal, One sister Mrs. Quince (Chloe) Johnson, Lapoint. There are 24 grandchiln and 18 great-grandchildren.
      Out of town visitors for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Norman and son Ronnie, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. James Dart, son Jimmy and daughter Cherry, Boise, Idaho; Marion Weist, Livermore, Calif.; A3c Doug Dart, Altus, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs.mas E. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hall, and Mrs. and Mrs,. Bill Murray, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Page, daughters Trina and Carla, Pleasant Grove; Ruland Anderson, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Quince Johnson and son Orson, Rile Blackburn, Mr. and Mrs. Ersel Sprouse, and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Johnson, Lapoint; Mrs. Zenna Summarell, Roosevelt; Mrs. Mabel Nebeker, Randlett; and Forrest Goodrich, Tridell.
      Ray McConkle dedicated the grave, and burial was in the Dry Fork Cemetery.
