  	Elaine Poulter Hilton Pleasant View - Elaine Poulter Hilton, 87, died Monday, March 13, 2000, surrounded by her loved ones. Elaine was born June 10, 1912 in Ogden, the duaghter of lee Charles and Effie Grow Poulter. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1930 and from Weber College in 1932. She married John "Jack" S. Hilton on December 4, 1934 in Ogden, Utah. She was a member of the Aglaia Club, Ben Lomond Ladies Golf Association and two bowling leagues. Her hobbies included needle work, ceramics, doll making and gardening. She was an accomplished seamstress. Surviving are three daughters, Lorraine Livingood, Hawaii; Sydne Hilton, Uintah; Janice (Tim) Craner, Ogden; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her husband, Jack Hilton and Son-in-law, Dee Livingood, preceded her in death. Remember when I am gone away, gone far away into the silent land. When you can no more hold me by the hand, nor I half turn to go, yet turning to stay. Remember me when no more day by day you tell me of your future you had planned, only remer me, you understand it will be late to counsel or pray. Yet if you should forget me for a while and afterwards remember, do not grieve, for if the darkness and corruption leave a vestige of the thoughts that I once had, better by far you should forget and smile than you should remember and be sad. Funeral services will held at the graveside, Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. on Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
