  Evaleo Brighton, lost her mother when she was 13 days old. She went to live with her Brighton grandparents. They both died. Her father was a miner, so he let Eva go live with his aunt Annie Brighton Thornley's son and his wife, Robert & Annie Teer Thornley. They were wonderful parents to my mother but they were not allowed to adopt her. Eva married Frank Tidwell.
