Boyd Clark Brinton passed away peacefully December 28, 2000 of liver failure. Boyd was born April 8, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Ut to Wilder Huffaker Brinton and Bernice Anderson Clark. He grew up in Utah, Nevada, Montana, and Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado in Electrical Engineering and Business. He served a mission for the LDS Church to the Central States Mission. He married Lota Hatch in the Idaho Falls Temple on February 13, 1953. Boyd worked at General Electric in Schnectady, NY until 1959, then at Thiokol until he retired. Boyd was always active in the LDS Church and held many positions including: Bishop, high councilor, branch president, and ward and stake clerk. He is survived by his wife, Lota; sister, Suzanne (Kline) Strong; children, Wendy (Boyd) Lewis, Susan (Paul) Harman, Douglas (Diane) Brinton, Sharon (Steve) Biegler; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
