  	Our loving husband, Father, Grandfather and friend, John Lewis Potter, age 86, passed away January 11, 1989 in a local hospital. Born March 1,1902 in Union, Utah. Son of Eugene Luerthett and Bertha Hardcastle Potter. The oldest of ten children. Lewis married Viola May Smith, July 26, 1923; marriage later solomnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He was employed at Garfiled Smeter for 42 years. His example as a father has been most influential in the lives and successes of his children. Lewis's love for his wife of 65 1/2 years has been an inspiration to all. Survivors: Wife, sons: Lewis E (Betty Lou Ivins), Jay Elizabeth Kearns), Gerald (Barbara), Delbert (Frances), Daughter: Karen (Phil Marsh), 23 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother Noral and sister Darleneimpson; preceded in death by infant son Bobby. Funeral Services will be held Monday January 16, 1989.
