  	David L. Murray, age 67, of Lapoint, Utah, died Fri., Dec. 23, 2011 at his home. He was born July 29, 1944 to Lyle Glen and Marinda Hall Murray in Vernal, Utah. Sports were a great love in Dave's life. He was a High school state champion wrestler when he was a senior, and spent many hours watching his children and grandchildren participate. He was a large supporter for High School athletics. Dave served on the Uintah School Board for 4 years. He served on the Mosby Irrigation board of directors and the Whiterocks Irrigation Co. for 35 years. He was instrumental in getting both Lapoint and Redwash Dams built, and on the Uintah Water Conservancy District board for 8 years. Dave spent his whole life doing what he loved; ranching and farming. He supported his love from several businesses. He started Lapoint Recycling and Storage, and Murray's Disposal which is now Tu and Frum Inc. His greatest joy came from his kids and grandchildren. He married Mardean Lamb July 1966 and they had Troy Brian and Kent. They lost twins Deenie and Deena, and divorced in 1978. He married Margo Eliason March 1980, and had Trevor, Tyson, Brittany, Hillary, Hunter, Baylee and McKendrie, and lost a son Braiden. They divorced in 2010. Dave is survived by his children; brothers Joseph, Robert and Billy; sisters Meriel Peterson, Deanna McCurdy, Saralyn Rogers, Marinda Ross and Mary Smuin and 10 grandchildren. Funeral Services were Dec. 28 at the Lapoint LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Lapoint cemetery, with Military Honors from the American Legion and Utah Army National Guard. Services entrusted to Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
