    • Mrs. Almina Worthen Chidester,widow of the late Judge John F. Chidester, died suddenly at the family home here Tuesday evening at about 5 o'clock, after a short illness from which she seemingly had been recovering.
      Mrs. Chidester, or Aunt Allie, as she was know to most people, was a daughter of Samuel and Maria L. Grow Worthen and was born in New Harmony, Utah, October 6, 1864. When she was a child the family moved to St. George, and in 1875 moved touitch. There she met John F. Chidester and married him in the St. George temple March 4, 1885. Eleven children were born to them, two of whom preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of the L.D.S. church. She was a nurse and gave her services readily at any time to help those in sickness or trouble. Besides rearing her own children, she was a mother to four step-children.
      The Chidesters made their home at Panguitch until 1905, when the family moved to Richfield. Mrs. Chidester's husband died here on July 7, 1917.
      Mrs. Chidester served as a Relief society teacher in Panguitch and in Richfield.
      Surviving are five sons and four daughters, Samuel H. Chidester of Bicknell, Arnon A. Chidester of Richfield, Renton R. Chidester of Monitor, Washington, John Denzel Chidester of Richfield, Alton P. Chidester of California, Mrs. Leonard Ogf Richfield, Mrs. Louisa Johnson of Emmett, Idaho, Mrs. Vera Barton of North Hollywood, California and Mrs. Thais Freeland of Los Angeles; three step-children, Theodore Chidester of Panquitch, Mrs. Bena C. Yates of Salt Lake and Mrs. Cenette Baker of Midvale; one brother, Henry Worthen of Panguitch; three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Judd of St. George, Mrs. John Henry of Panguitch and Mrs. Ernest Hancock of Salt Lake, and the following half-brothers and sisters: John F. Worthen, Mrs. Elizabeth Henderson, Mrs. Rhoda Lee of Panguitch, George Worthen and Mrs. Alice Milne of St. George.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Richfield Second ward chapel.
