  Married: Anniversary Date Nears For Couple Wed in 1923 The family of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar A. Johansen of 2064 Ogden, will honor the couple of their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Wednesday at the Hains House, 3643 Brinker. Friends and relatives are invited to call between the hours of 8 and 10 p.m. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The couple was married June 20, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Johansen was born March 7, 1898 in Huntsville, a son of Marinus and Anna Mollerup Johansen. Mrs. Johansen, the former Theo Grow, also was born in Huntsville, April 30, 1898, a daughter of Sylvester Veach and Johanna Michelson Grow. ---------------------------------- CHURCH WORKERS Both have been active members of the Middleton, Huntsville and Ogden 4th LDS Wards. They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Parley N. (Wilma) Butler, and five grandchildren who reside in San Rafael, Calif. Mr. Johansen was employed as an electrician for the Ogden Union Railway and Depot Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1963 Ogden Standard Examiner June 17, 1973 ____________________________________________________________
