RECEPTION HONORS MR. AND MRS. LORIN HACKING
A reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hacking, who were married February 4 in the Salt Lake Temple, was held Friday in the Scout Building.
Mrs. Hacking was formerly Iris Rae Swain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Swain and Lorin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Iowa Hacking.
The bride was lovely in a gown of white parachute silk with lace trim and an all-over lace veil. She carried a bouquet of pink orchids. Gayla Hacking, Barbara Sawin and Rae Galley were bridemaids and wore blue net models and corsages of pink carnations. Ferron Davis was best man. The parents of the bride and groom completed the receiving line.
Guests were served from a lace-covered table which held a wedding cake surrounded by pink carnations as a centerpiece. Candles were at either end. Dancing was enjoyed during the evening.
The bride was a Senior at Uintah High School this year and Mr. Hacking graduated in 1947.
