PRESTON, Idaho — Berkeley Scott Palmer, 66, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2002, at Logan Regional Hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Malad, Idaho, the son of James William and Emma Scott Palmer. He served in the army during the Korean War. He enjoyed poetry and doing artwork. He liked helping people and he always looked out for others. He was very independent and polite.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Palmer of Preston; two sisters and two brothers, Rose Marie (Deane) Seeger of Irrigon, Ore., Craig Palmer of Preston, Martha Raye (Gary) Farnsworth of Manti and Brett (Lynette) Palmer of Fernley, Nev. He was preceded in death by his father and by a sister, Raynette Broussard.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State, with Bishop Cleve Esplin conducting. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Lewiston City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emma Palmer family.
