She was born January 11, 1902 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Orie Earl and Sarah Elizabeth Grow Maddy. She was raised in Magna and married Andrew "Andy" Dallas Sept-ember 15, 1924 in Farmington, Utah.

Andy died in 1991.

Nell was a member of the Cathedral of the Madeleine Cath-olic Church for many years before moving to back to Magna. With her husband they ran a restaurant in Magna and a motel and trailer court in Salt Lake.

She is survived by nephews, nieces, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Andy; mother and father; brothers, Frank and Orie Earl Jr.; sister, Anna Maud Allen; and nephew, LaMar Maddy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2000 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 West. Friends may call Sunday 6-7 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 South, Magna, and where a Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Committal: Mt. Calvary Cemetery - Deseret News
