Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Grow Worthen 82, former resident of Hunter, who died Sunday at 6 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Treseder, 40 Coatsville avenue will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at 36 East Seventh South Street.
Ernest A. Nelson bishop of the Hunter LDS ward will officiate. Friends may call at place of funeral prior to services. Burial will be in Pleasant Green cemetery.
A daughter of Henry and Julia Grow, Mrs. Worthen was born January 7, 1861, in Salt Lake City. she was the widow of Walter P. Worthen, who died in 1922. Mrs. Worthen's father was the architect of the Salt Lake LDS tabernacle.
Survivors include three sons, Walter, Frank and Ben M. Worthen, all of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Mrs. William Treseder, Salt Lake City; six brothers, Sylvester Grow of Ogden, George Grow of Pasadena, Cal.; William, Otto and Mark Grow, all of Salt Lake City, and Pernell Grow of Sandy; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Foreman of Midvale and Mrs. Sarah Maddy of Magna; 32 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
