Lea Hacking Goodman passed away July 22, 2002 at the Ashley Valley Medical Center due to complications of diabetes and congestive heart failure.
Lea was born October 12, 1925. The daughter of Milt and Mary Allen Hacking. She had a great fondness for the mountains and fishing and also her special cat. Lea served as a girl scout leader and was on the Maeser Fairview Cemetery Board. She was truly loved by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Barney; son, Jim (Marjorie) Goodman; grandson, Shane Goodman; sisters, Lois (Marcell) Gray, Dolly (DeLoy) Shiner; brothers, Bud Hacking, Cork (Dee) Hacking all of Vernal; John (Karen) Hacking of Bullhead City, Arizona. Lea is preceded in death by her daughter Karen, parents; two sisters in-law; and two nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 26, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services at the Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
