June 6th Wind S and Cloudy Growing day I pottering Planted pumpkin & Cucomberseed afternoon at Hestons to try to Settle with him He Ill natured & not Settle; my Freind George Grow dead & to be Buried to Morrow John & Jos. halling dung for George Prince [Printz]

7 Wind S very foggy Close warm Morn & day but [no] rain here I at G. Grows Burial at the Dutch Church Large no of People had much Preaching one Baker from Germantown, I at pike Boys Planting Potatoes for Printz & for Obe 1/2 day at Each Obe high
