George Adam apparently did not marry until after the death of his parents and probably postponed his own marriage and family to take care of them. He was 54 years old when he married Anna List, she was 25. They eventually had 7 children. Adam with his older brother George was an administrator of his father's estate. Adam's family eventually inherited the family home and the family bible.

Adam was in the Revolutionary war with his brother George.
