Deceased Name: Chester Romberger CARLISLE Chester Elmer Romberger, 73, of 380 Easy Road died yesterday at home.

He had been a mechanic for the former Pennsylvania Railroad and a former carpenter for the state Department of Transportation; a Navy veteran of World War II; and a member of North Middleton Church of God, Eagles Aerie 1299 and the Carlisle VFW post.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Romaine Quigley Romberger; a son, Chester L., and a daughter, Shirley A. Miller, both of Carlisle; two sisters, Alverta M. Cunard and Thelma I. Kaufman, both of Mechanicsburg; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
